PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce influences on a construction working step of a building, and simplify post-installation following climbing. SOLUTION: This tower crane 1 comprises a lower supporting part 20 comprising a mast 3 and a crane body 10 movable upward and downward along the mast 3 while a top part of the mast 3 is inserted and supported, arranging the mast 3 at an opening formed on a floor concrete 6 in each floor in a building, and horizontally supporting a bottom part of the mast 3 on the slab floor concrete 6 at a first supporting floor with a reaction force; and an upper supporting part 30 horizontally supporting an approximate intermediate upward and downward part of the mast 3 on the slab floor concrete 6 on a second supporting floor with a reaction force, providing a projection member restraining an upward and downward movement of the mast 3, and loading a vertical load applied to the mast 3 on a beam of the second supporting floor via the projection member.
