PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a mobile communication system capable of reducing traffics for optimization of a path. SOLUTION: The mobile communication system includes: a mobile router MR1 having a home address HoA1 and storing a subnetwork MNP1; a home agent HA1 which manages the MR1; a mobile router MR2 having a home address HoA2 and storing a subnetwork MNP2; and a home agent HA2 which manages the MR2, when a communication terminal MNN connected to the MR2 performs communication with a communication partner CN, the MR1 advertises that the MR1 can be directly connected to the Internet to a subordinate network, the MR2 connected to the MR1 recognizes that it is connected to subordinate of the MR1 by the above advertisement, the MR2 notifies the MR1 of information required for position registration, the MR1 learns correspondence of the HoA2 of the MR2, the HA2, and the MNP2, the MR1 performs the position registration to the HA2 by proxy of the MR2 without the HoA1 being known by the HA2.
