<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set (annex) a comment at an arbitrary position in an area to be designed, and to easily confirm whether or not the result of the design of a position set satisfies a design condition. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A design system conducts a design operation such as a radio system while quantitatively evaluating characteristics to be evaluated at each position of the area to be designed. In the design system, a local design-information setting means 143 sets local design information having a comment column, a design condition column and a design result column to a specified position in the area to be designed. A comment editing means 144 edits the comment for the comment column, and a design condition editing means 145 edits the design condition of the design condition column. A local design result evaluating means 146 decides whether or not the result of the design for the characteristics to be evaluated at the position setting the local design information satisfies the design condition, and sets the result of the decision in the design result column.
