<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ornament which can hold excellent hardness and aesthetic appearance for a long period of time, to provide a manufacturing method which can provide the ornament and to provide a timepiece which includes the ornament. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of the ornament 1 has a first film forming process wherein a first film 3 constituted mainly of TiN is formed on a base 2 and a second film forming process wherein a second film 4 is formed on the first film 3 by a dry type plating method using as a target an Au-Pd-Ag-In-Zn alloy which is constituted mainly of Au and contains Pd of 6.0-8.0 wt.%, Ag of 6.0-8.0 wt.%, In of 3.0-5.0 wt.% and Zn of 3.0-5.0 wt.%.
