<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing material capable of sealing at a low temperature and also having an excellent fluidity and a low expansion property. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The material is a composite powder containing a ceramic powder and a pitch-based graphitized short fiber. The material is a composite body obtained by molding the composite powder. The material is a paste material containing (1) the ceramic powder, (2) the pitch-based graphitized short fiber, and (3) a resin binder and/or a solvent.
