<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle hood structure having excellent pedestrian protective performance while a large air intake opening is formed in the vehicle width direction. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A longitudinal frame 20 and a longitudinal frame 22 are arranged on both sides in the vehicle width direction of an opening 14B, and extend in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle of a hood inner 10B. The longitudinal frames 20, 22 are joined with both ends in vehicle width directions of transverse frames 16A, 16B, and the strength of the entire hood inner 10B is secured by forming a substantially ladder-shaped pattern as a whole. A fixing member 24 for fixing a bulge 12 to the hood inner 10B is composed of a boss 24A, a bolt 24B and a nut 24C, and the boss 24A fixes the bulge 12 on the hood inner 10B at a predetermined space. The boss 24A has an brittle structure in which the strength is intentionally reduced, and the brittle structure has the rigidity and the strength for buckling with a load smaller than that of the bulge 12 against an input from an upper side of a vehicle body to the bulge 12.
