PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective case for power lines, which reduces cost for preventing the spread of fire to other circuits due to fault, etc. at the joint of a power line, and also enables a user to easily perform the maintenance inspection and a repair work of the joint of the power line. SOLUTION: The joints 31a-31c and 32a-32c of all phases of power lines 31A-31C and 32A-32C in power circuits 31 and 32 using OF cables are accommodated in a protective case 33 so that sealed space are formed around it. The wall part 33A of the protective case 33 is constituted by attaching a refractory plate 48 to the outer flank of a case frame. The wall part 33A of the protective case 33 includes a pressure relief part 36 which is opened from a closed state for releasing the pressure when the internal pressure of the case increases.
