PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch display of a demonstration video image display at an arbitrary timing while displaying a normal video image, and to switch to a normal video image after ending reproduction. SOLUTION: A television broadcast receiver has: a means for inputting a switch corresponding to display of a demonstration video image for a predetermined function by touching; a means for transmitting demonstration display information for designating display of a corresponding demonstration video image in response to input by the input means; a means for receiving the demonstration display information transmitted by the transmitting means, an acquisition control means acquiring a demonstration video image corresponding to the demonstration display information when the receiving means received the demonstration display information; a display means for reproducing and displaying the demonstration video image acquired by the acquisition control means; and a reproduction control means for switching to normal display based on the end of reproduction of the demonstration video image.
