PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a medicinal herb toothpaste having improved function is provided to remove halitosis because of natural aromatic component of peppermint. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing toothpaste with improved function comprises: a step of extracting Angelica dahurica, Asarum sieboldii MIQ., and Mentha arvensis var. piperascens in distilled water at 60-80°C for two hours and filtering; and a step of decompressing extract with vacuum evaporating device. The composition contains 0.1-3.0 weight% of medicinal extract, 10-50 weight% of abrasive, 20-60 weight% of moisturizing agent, 0.5-2.0 weight% of binding agent, 0.5-3.0 weight% of foaming agent and distilled water.
