<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feed additive improving the weight, deliciousness and product quality such as palate feeling each of livestock, and enhancing an added value of the livestock. <P>SOLUTION: The feed additive includes a solid solution obtained by dissolving Mg, Zn, Fe, Mn and Cu in calcium hydrate in solid state, and is fed to livestock. A livestock quality improver contains the calcium hydrate-based solid solution represented by the following formula (1), as an active ingredient; wherein M<SP>2+</SP>is at least one kind of divalent metal of Zn, Fe, Mn and Cu, and x and y are in the following range: 0<x<0.5, 0<y<0.4, and 0<(x+y)<0.5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
