PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a viscous fluid filled damper which can enlarge a degree of freedom for selecting a material of an airtight container, can be manufactured with high productive efficiency, and can avoid the leakage of a viscous fluid. SOLUTION: Since a container body 16 is fixed to a lid body 18 by compressively sandwiching a collar 22 including a projection 22a by a sealing member 17 and the lid body 18, an aperture end 16a of the container 16 formed of isobutylene-isoprene rubber can be sealed by the lid body 18 formed of a polypropylene resin. Therefore, the degree of freedom for selecting the material of the airtight container 15 can be improved, and the airtight container 15 based on performance required by a viscous fluid filled damper 14 can be obtained. Furthermore, since an engaging groove 17c irregularly engaged with the projection 22a is formed at the sealing member 17, a contact area of contact surface of the sealing member 17 with respect to the collar 22 is increased by the meandering of the contact surface, and therefore the fluid is hardly leaked.
