PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use information based on an action of a user out of a vehicle by a navigation device. SOLUTION: A communication system for navigation includes a mobile terminal 1 and a navigation device 2. The mobile terminal 1 which is carried even when the user acts out of the vehicle, detects a current location by an internal GPS function, logs information on facilities (POI) such as a restaurant or a convenience store at which the user drops in as user's TPO information together with the data, the day of the week and the time, and stores it into an internal storage circuit. The mobile terminal 1 sends the TPO information to the navigation device 2 by short-distance communication. The navigation device 2 which is loaded on the vehicle, reports that the vehicle has approached the POI, to a vehicle driver or an occupant by screen display, voice guide, an alarm sound or the like, when vehicle approaches the POI, following the TPO information received from the mobile terminal 1.
