<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner cartridge in which a sealing member can easily be detached from a sealing-member installation face while suppressing the cost rise. <P>SOLUTION: The toner cartridge 30 includes: a toner storage container 1 for storing toner; and a container engagement member 2 that is engaged with a toner storage container 1 so as to cover an opening 16 formed in the toner storage container 1, and is freely rotatably supported by the toner storage container 1 while causing the edge of the opening 16 to slide over the sealing member 3 installed in the sealing-member installation face 10 formed on itself. As the toner storage container 1 rotates, the toner container 30, i.e., the toner cartridge, feeds toner in the toner storage container 1 into the container engagement member 2 from the opening 16, and subsequently discharges the toner out of the container engagement member 2. In the toner container 30, a side-face on the sealing-member installation face side of the sealing member 3 is provided with a non-contact portion 23 which does not come into contact with the sealing-member installation face 10.
