Ž<P>SOLUTION: A DPF vessel 46 is extended in a vehicle body longitudinal direction to an upper area of a trans-axle 32 connected to the lateral placement engine 30 while being adjacent to the upper area and adjacent to a side area of the engine 30. The engine 30 is a front intake/rear exhaust system, and in a centrifugal type turbo-charger 44, an exhaust turbine 72 is arranged at the DPF vessel 46 side, a compressor 56 is arranged at an opposite side in a vehicle width direction with respect to the turbo-charger, and an inter-cooler 58 is arranged at the compressor 56 side. The DPF vessel 46 is connected to the exhaust turbine 72 by a first short exhaust pipe 80, and a second exhaust pipe connected to a front end of the DPF vessel 46 is obliquely downwardly bent and rearwardly extended at the center in the vehicle width direction.
