<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress or prevent the deformation of an outer edge in a vehicle width direction of a roof panel caused by a load in an in-surface outer side direction while suppressing an increase of a mass. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A joint wall 66 formed on an outer side end 60A in the vehicle width direction of a roof reinforcement 60 is superposed and joined to a vertical wall 52 of the outer edge 50A in the vehicle width direction of the roof panel 50. (The vertical wall 52 of the roof panel 50 and the roof reinforcement 60 are joined (connected)). Furthermore, plate thickness of the vertical wall 52 of the roof panel 50 seemingly (substantially) becomes thick and the rigidity of the vertical wall 52 is increased. Accordingly, the deformation of the outer edge 50A in the vehicle width direction of the roof panel 50 caused by the load Y in the in-surface outer side direction can be suppressed or prevented, for example, without making the plate thickness of the whole of the roof panel 50 thick, namely, while suppressing the increase of the mass.
