<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas-barrier film superior in transparency and physical strength, having a high gas-barrier property also not lower the gas-barrier property and interlayer adhesive properties in each of a substrate, a vapour deposition thin-film layer and an adhesive layer even if it is under severe situations such as a boiling sterilization and heating-pressurizing sterilization. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The gas-barrier film is characterized by having the substrate made of a plastic film, the vapour deposition thin-film layer which consists of an inorganic oxide which is laminated to at least one side of the substrate and a gas-barrier coated layer containing a polymer having a polysilsesquioxane and hydroxyl group.
