CAMERA HEAD OF ENDOSCOPE, AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera head for an endoscope which is equipped with a constitution by which the outer shape of the camera head can be made smaller, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: This camera head 1 has an image pick-up element which outputs an image pick-up signal according to an optical image and a lens member equipped with a lens which forms an optical image on an image pick-up element. The image pick-up element is fixed to the lens member in such a manner that the center of the image circle of the lens may meets the center of the image pick-up area of the image pick-up element. The camera head 1 is manufactured by performing a positional adjustment to make the center of the image circle of the optical lens meet the center of the image pick-up area of the image pick-up element.
