PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction port body of a vacuum cleaner by which lock of a rotary cleaning body due to dust entangled to the rotary cleaning body of the suction port body hardly occurs and dust such as lint entangled to the rotary cleaning body can easily be removed. SOLUTION: The suction port body of the vacuum cleaner is provided with: a driving source for the cleaning body including a motor for driving the rotary cleaning body; a power transmitting bearing unit for transmitting the driving force of the driving source for the cleaning body to the rotary cleaning body; a driven shaft joint arranged in the rotary cleaning body; a driving shaft joint arranged in the power transmitting bearing unit and coupled detachably to the driven shaft joint; a driven-side engaging portion arranged in an axial directional end portion of the driven-shaft joint; and a driving-side engaging portion arranged in an axial directional end portion of the driving-side shaft joint and arranged facing the driven side engaging portion so as to engage to and leave from the same. The outer diameters of the driving shaft joint and/or the driven shaft joint taper toward the engaging portion of the driving shaft joint and the driven shaft joint. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
