PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily avoid deterioration of flow of treated materials and plugging of the treated materials in a whole culm-charging type thresher including a threshing cylinder having plural supporting plates making a row in back and forth of the threshing cylinder and a plurality of supportin plates facing back and forth of the threshing cylinder by making a row in the circumferential direction of the threshing cylinder and supported by the plural supporting plates. SOLUTION: This thresher is provided by arranging culm-cutting blades 50 so as to act for cutting by a cooperation with threshing teeth 19 positioning in the vicinity of the supporting plate 16 forward from the front end side of the threshing drum than the front side supporting plate 16 positioning forward from the threshing drum than the end-supporting plate positioning at the rear most end side of the threshing drum among the plurality of supporting plates.
