PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology enabling to reduce direct adverse effect of heat generated at a resistor 9 on an electromagnetic coil 27 without enlarging an outer diameter of an auxiliary switch 10. SOLUTION: A resistor 9 is arranged in a space formed between a magnetic plate 28 and an auxiliary contact inside a contact cover 31, an end side 9a of the resistor 9 is connected with a first terminal bolt 32, and the other end side 9b is connected with a second terminal bolt 33. And also, the resistor 9 is arranged with a gap of predetermined distance to an inner periphery surface of the contact cover 31, and is provided with two or more bending parts between the end side 9a connected with the first terminal bolt 32 and the other end side 9b connected with the second terminal bolt 33 on a plane crossing with an axial direction. With this structure, the resistor 9 is not arranged on an outer periphery side of the electromagnetic coil 27, but in the space formed inside the contact cover 31, thus an outer diameter of the auxiliary switch 10 can be made smaller.
