PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to improve the biting ability of a material to be rolled while using the same kind of lubricating oil. SOLUTION: The nose part of aluminum alloy of the material 10 to be rolled is heated with a heating furnace 2 before lubricated rolling is performed in a roughing mill 3. In this way, magnesium is segregated on the outermost layer in the nose part because of the diffusion coefficients, the easiness of generation of oxide or the like of aluminum and magnesium. Then, when the lubricating oil is used at the lubricated rolling in the roughing mill 3, the oil effect of the outermost layer in the nose part is changed and the coefficient of friction in the nose part rises.
