The invention relates to a liquid-cooled electric machine comprising variable connections (4 A, B) for connecting the machine to an external cooling circuit. The aim of the invention is to increase the flexibility of the machine with respect to its range of applications and to render a connection to external cooling systems as effective as possible. According to the invention, a coolant inlet (4A) and a coolant outlet (4B) are designed in such a manner that the inlet (4A) and the outlet (4B) are accessible from the same and from different sides of the housing, which has the advantage that the electric machine can easily be adapted in terms of cooling to the most varied constructional conditions. |
