The roller has an outer casing (1) rotatably supported against a carrying axle (9) by a ball bearing i.e. grooved ball bearing (6). An inner race of the ball bearing is accommodated by an outer bearing part (7), which oscillates transverse to the axle on a spherical surface (10) of a pendulum device (8). The bearing part and the ball bearing are relubricated through a lubrication bore (5) in the casing. The part is made of plastic material, sintered iron, brass, sintered bronze or Bakelite(RTM: polyoxybenzylmethylenglycolanhydride), and the axle is made of steel or plastic material.
