<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately assist motions of a user's body when a wearable motion assisting device is mounted on a base. <P>SOLUTION: The wearable motion assisting device SU includes a body fitting 10 to be suitable for a body region of the user, and a support member 20 set on the base to support the body fitting 10 from below. The body fitting 10 includes a first support member 14 to be suitable for a proximal body region of a joint and a second support member 16 connected to the first support member 14 in such a way that the posture can be displaced to permit the bending motion of the joint to be suitable for a distal body region of the joint.
