<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup apparatus equipped with a correction means for correcting spherical and chromatic aberrations generated accompanying a change in environmental temperature. <P>SOLUTION: This apparatus includes a collimator lens 5 disposed in an optical path between a laser diode 1 and an objective lens 8 made of a synthetic resin, having a diffraction grating 5a, and moved in an optical axis direction to correct a spherical aberration and a chromatic aberration. A spherical aberration generated accompanying a change in recording operation time temperature is corrected by the displacing of the collimator lens 5 in the optical axis direction, and a chromatic aberration generated during switching from a recording operation state to a reproducing operation state is corrected by the diffraction grating 5a included in the collimator lens 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
