<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device having simplified constitution and reduced number of parts of mechanism for adjusting a position and a direction of a semiconductor laser element. <P>SOLUTION: A pair of projections 45 having circular-arc shape parts with a common center axis is provided at a holder 32 holding a semiconductor laser element 31, and V-grooves 34 corresponding to the projections are formed in an optical base 33. A direction of the semiconductor laser element is adjusted by pressing the projections of the holder to the V-groove of the optical base and rotating the holder. The same effect is obtained by performing tilt adjustment of a rising mirror 35 without providing mechanism for position adjustment of the semiconductor laser element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
