DISPENSER HAVING VARIABLE-VOLUME STORAGE CHAMBER AND DEPRESSIBLE ONE-WAY VALVE ASSEMBLY FOR DISPENSING CREAM OR OTHER SUBSTANCES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispenser capable of storing substances for more than one-time usage in an air-tight condition and dispensing only a required amount with a simple one-handed operation.

SOLUTION: A housing of this dispenser includes a variable-volume storage chamber and a compression chamber with a piston and a one-way valve installed therein. The variable-volume storage chamber is connected to the one-way valve through the piston and the compression chamber. Either both or one of the piston and the one-way valve can be manually depressed relative to the other to switch between (i) a first position in which at least part of the piston is located outside of the compression chamber so that a substance to be dispensed can flow from the variable-volume storage chamber into the compression chamber, and (ii) a second position in which at least part of the piston is located inside the compression chamber so that the substance in the compression chamber can be pressurized to the extent higher than a pressure for opening the one-way valve and can be dispensed through the one-way valve from the dispenser.
