<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive control unit for an opening and closing body of a vehicle which can surely detect the contact of an object by reducing false detection. <P>SOLUTION: The drive control unit for the opening and closing body of the vehicle comprises: the opening and closing body 3 for opening and closing an opening 2 of a vehicle body 1; a driving means 7 for driving the opening and closing body in such a manner as to open and close it; a touch sensor 12 which is provided at the end of the opening and closing body; a contact determination section 37 which determines the presence or absence of the contact of an object by the touch sensor on the basis of a touch sensor output value; and a drive control section 32 which controls the drive of the driving means so as to make the opening and closing body operate for opening and closing, and controls the driving means on the basis of the result of determination by the contact determination section so as to make the opening and closing body stop and/or operate for opening. The contact determination section comprises a sensor output value determination portion 38 which outputs a detection signal when the touch sensor output value falls to the outside of a first predetermined range, and a detection signal determination portion 39 which determines that the object is brought into contact with the touch sensor when the detection signal is continuously outputted over a predetermined period of time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
