<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device that facilitates sealing compound injecting operation and has superior assembling operability, and has waterproofness. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting device includes a light emission portion 4 formed by mounting an LED 5 and an electronic component 22 on a printed wiring board 24, a lead wire 6 for supplying electric power, and a case which accommodates the light emission portion 4 and a part of the lead wire 6. The case is constituted by coupling a first case 1 and a second case 2 each formed in a box type having an opening at one surface by making mutual opening surfaces abut against each other and the lead wire 6 is led out of the one surface; and the first case 1 has a light transmission portion which transmit light from the LED 5 and a substrate reception portion 7 which supports a peripheral edge of the printed wiring board 24, and the second case 2 has an opening 23 into which a sealing compound for sealing a space enclosed by the light emission portion 4 and the second case 2 is injected, and the opening 23 is formed at a surface of the case 2 other than the surface where the lead wire 6 is led out. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
