<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce print waiting time of a user while printing an image containing image data of a format which is not supported by a printer, in an image processing apparatus connected to the printer. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus connectable to a printer: holds an image data of a first data format which can be printed by the printer and an image data of a second data format which cannot be printed by the printer; prompts the user to designate the image data to be printed; generates a print job by adding image data identification information without converting the second format into the first format, even if the designated image data is of the second data format; transmits the generated print job to the printer; and converts the image data of the second format into the first data format after the print job is transmitted to the printer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
