<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device not only capable of making a replacement timing of a charging roller of high using frequency substantially same to those other charging rollers, but also capable of maintaining a full color image of high quality while reducing an ozone emission amount. <P>SOLUTION: This tandem type image forming device 100 is provided with the charging rollers 2a-2d, photoreceptor drums 1a-1d, a coil spring 31 for bringing the charging roller 2d into contact with the photoreceptor drum 1d and for separating it therefrom, a contact and separation roller 32 and a solenoid 34 (contact and separation mechanism). All the charging rollers 2a-2d are brought into contact to conduct charging, in a full color mode, and only the charging roller 2d is separated to conduct charging, in a monochrome mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
