PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigator, a navigation method and a program, capable of detecting multiple curve sections on a route without storing information of multiple curve sections into database of map information. SOLUTION: CPU41 defines measurement points on a searched recommended route at every predetermined distance L along a road from a departure place to a destination of the searched recommended route. Further, the CPU41 determines each of sections between adjacent two points of the respective measurement points to be a multiple curve section when a proportion of a straight distance to a distance between both terminal points of the respective sections along a road is a predetermined one or less and sets multiple curve flags to an ON state allocated to the respective sections.
