PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel seat structure for a fishing rod capable of suppressing the loosening of a nut by adding a new mechanism between a mobile hood and the nut. SOLUTION: A nut 4 is screwed on a screw 3A threaded on a seat base 3, a tubular part is extended from the nut 4 toward the mobile hood to form a connected member 5, an engaging groove 5A of the connected member 5 is engaged with engaging ridges 1A of the mobile hood 1 to link the mobile hood 1 with the nut 4 in a manner enabling free relative rotation, integrated together and freely movable along the axial line of the seat base 3, and a freely rotatable member 6 is put on the connected member 5 to inhibit the contact of the nut 4 with the palm of the hand gripping the reel leg and the reel seat.
