<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor with a brush, which can be further reduced in size. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A coil portion 21 is supported on both ends by one end arm portion 22 and the other end arm portion 23. With the movement of a portion of a brush 15 which supports the one end arm portion 22 toward the commutator 14 side due to the wear of a slidable contact portion (contact surface 15a) of the brush 15 with the commutator 14, the coil portion 21 is made to move in the downward direction (and slightly to the left) in Fig.3.
