PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital television receiver for quickly outputting content data matched to tastes without making the digital television receiver execute troublesome operations. SOLUTION: A control part 46 of an output control device 60 constituting the digital television receiver 30 obtains selection information of selection content whose content starting date and time are before the current date and time, when it is recognized that selection content standby time becomes less than 10 minutes which is prior acquisition reference time, turns a sub-power supply 32 on, makes a content acquisition means 62 preliminarily obtain the selection content, and executes preparation processing of the selection content, which is made to perform decryption and data processing of the content data.
