PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for estimating the oil contamination distribution of the soil, capable of easily and precisely estimating a three-dimensional oil contamination distribution, including relatively low-concentration oil contamination. SOLUTION: This method includes a first step (S1, S2) of performing a high-density electric survey on the soil to prepare a resistivity value distribution chart; a second step (S3) of determining a high-concentration contamination position, where high-concentration oil exists from the resistivity value distribution chart; a third step (S4) of determining a position above the high-concentration contamination position of the soil surface as an oil leakage position; and a fourth step (S5 to S8) of simulating infiltration of oil, with the oil leakage position as the initial oil position.
