<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a surface-mounted piezoelectric vibrator which actualizes remarkably small size and lightweight, eliminates the need of molding resin, and reduces the number of components. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the surface-mounted piezoelectric vibrator, a cylinder 2 of a piezoelectric vibrator 1 is fittingly held detachably by one-touch operation in a case 3 with an opened bottom, wherein the case 3 is composed of a metal material, and includes a top face portion 4 corresponding to the upper part of the cylinder 2, contact portions 5, 5 which are brought into contact with both sides of the cylinder 2 from outside while being biased, and earth leads 7, 7 which are brought into contact with a substrate which serves as the object of attachment while being folded outward from the lower part of the back side of the case 3.
