FLEXIBLE HEAT-RESISTANT COATED WIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly heat-resistant and flexible coated wire preferably used in an environment in which the wire is in contact with a transmission oil or engine oil of an internal combustion engine.

SOLUTION: A flexible heat-resistant coated wire comprises a coating layer of a complex of a fluororesin and a dynamically-crosslinked fluororubber. A method of kneading and crosslinking a fluororesin and an uncrosslinked fluororubber (a dynamic crosslinking method) is adopted to prepare a complex of fluororesin and crosslinked fluororubber for the coating layer. The dynamic crosslinking method comprises mixing a fluororesin and a fluororubber, kneading them under a temperature at which the fluororesin and the fluororubber melt to crosslink the fluororubber.
