<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake air cooling device capable of appropriately cooling intake air according to the operation conditions of a vehicle and an internal combustion engine, and of providing appropriate fuel economy and exhaust emission characteristics thereby. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The intake air cooling device 1 is provided with a heat exchanger 21 cooling intake air by heat exchange between outside air and the intake air, a shutter 23 for changing flow rate of the outside air flowing in the heat exchanger 21, and a fan 24 for blasting air to the heat exchanger 21. When a detected engine temperature parameter TW is in a prescribed low temperature zone (≤TWL), flow rate of outside air flowing in the heat exchanger 21 is reduced by controlling opening of the shutter 23 to a reduction side. When a detected vehicle speed parameter NE is in a prescribed low speed zone (≤NEL) and a detected intake air temperature parameter TA is in a prescribed high temperature zone (>TAH), the fan 24 is operated.
