<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optic device and a driving method for an electro-optic device, restraining the occurrence of display unevenness near a block boundary in the case of using block sequential driving system in comparatively simple constitution. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the electro-optic device, block sequential driving system is taken to sequentially drive signal lines in block units of a plurality of signals lines. For sub-pixels corresponding to an ending signal line group having a predetermined number of signal lines, which are close to the next block to be selected, in the signal lines belonging to a previously selected block of one set of adjacent blocks, gray scale display voltage corresponding to data in which the gray scale level of input display data is uniformly corrected (added or subtracted) for a fixed level is supplied.
