<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct rolling resistance in accordance with torsional torque that is generated in a spindle at the time of measurement of the rolling resistance and measure the rolling resistance with a high degree of accuracy. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A tire testing device 1 including a spindle 4 on which a tire T is mounted, a bearing housing 15 that rotatably supports the spindle 4 through a bearing, an outer housing 16 that supports the bearing housing 15, and a load cell 17 provided between the bearing housing 15 and the outer housing 16 includes: a torque detection section 24, provided around the center of axle of the spindle 4, which measures torsional torque that is generated in the spindle 4 due to the resistance of the bearing; and a correction section 25 that corrects, in accordance with the torsional torque detected by the torque detection section 24, rolling resistance measured by the load cell 17.
