The subframe has longitudinal support units (10, 12) running in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle and separated from each other. The support units are connected with each other by a cross beam unit (36) that runs in a transverse direction of the vehicle. The support units and the cross beam unit are bonded by a reinforcement unit. The support units have a longitudinal support part (18) that is arranged between front and rear metal castings (14, 16) and formed as an energy absorbing deformation part. The reinforcement unit is connected with the cross beam unit and the rear metal casting.
