PURPOSE: A public address system using a speech effector is provided to improve articulation by equalizing a characteristic difference between the male and female. CONSTITUTION: A voice signal is inputted through a speech microphone input terminal. A female equalizer compensates for a frequency which increases from 500Hz to 5KHz and from -0.5dB to -1.5dB exponential-functionally. A male equalizer compensates for the frequency which decreases from 500Hz to 5KHz and from -0.5dB to -1.5dB exponential-functionally. A selection switch is two line-three wire system. A microphone user and an administrator select the male/female equalizer. A range is automatically corrected according to the characteristic of the male and female.
