The invention relates to a system for the collection of wind energy using elevated turbines. According to the invention, one or more turbines are floatingly positioned at a great height, upwardly supported by heliostatic paragliders or balloons and/or inclined sail surfaces or wings and the action of the wind. In addition, the lower area of the turbines is attached to a rotary supporting element secured to the ground using cables or ropes and the turbines are attached to electric generators, said system being secured between two cables or ropes separated by rigid rods. The electric current is lowered to the ground via electric cables disposed beside or inside the securing cables.
