<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool enhanced in safety by preventing a motor from being driven unless a trigger switch is turned on after the handle grip section is held. <P>SOLUTION: This power tool comprises a motor 2 serving as a drive source, a body section containing the motor 2, the handle grip section 1 formed integrally with the body section, and the trigger switch 3 for operating the on/off of the supply of power from a power supply to the motor 2. The power tool is provided with a contact sensor 4 for detecting that the handle grip section 1 is held, an auxiliary switch 7 for cutting off the supply of power to the motor 2 when the holding of the handle grip section 1 is not detected by the contact sensor 4, and an auxiliary switch drive means 8 for controlling the driving of the auxiliary switch 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
