PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic endoscope which reduces places requiring high-precision working and sophisticated assembly work and reliably connects a transducer unit to a signal cable electrically by connectors by providing a distal end unit in a distal end arrangement opening. SOLUTION: In the ultrasonic endoscope 1, a distal end driving unit 30 is provided in a unit opening 45 formed in the main body 21a of a distal end rigid part 21, and the distal end driving unit 30 and the signal cable 91 connected to an ultrasonic connector 8 inserted into an insertion part 2 are electrically connected by the connectors 70 and 92. The connector 70 is the connector located on a unit side and is fixed to a small diameter part 36c of a unit housing 36, and the connector 92 is the connector located on an endoscope side and is arranged in a connector setting part 80 having an abutment surface part 83 and a flat wall 82 constructed in the unit opening 45.
