PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prediction method of hat generation of running belt, prediction method of running resistance force, prediction method of running heat generation of rotation body, and prediction method of rolling resistance, which are advantageous for predicting more correctly heat generation energy or running resistance of the rotation body or belt body containing viscoelastic material. SOLUTION: A master curve showing frequency characteristics and temperature characteristics of the loss tangent tanδof the viscoelastic material is previously prepared, and the frequency of the wave form representing stress or distortion is calculated from first order to N-th order respectively using the running speed of specified unit belt body, the loss tangent tanδcorresponding to respective frequency is obtained from the master curve using the specified temperature.
