<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a test frequency follow the variation of a resonance frequency. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A test body 1 is excited at a reference frequency (f) corresponding to the resonance frequency fa of the test body 1, the acceleration amplitude A2 of the test body 1 is detected, and the test frequency F is fluctuated at a predetermined cycle T with respect to the reference frequency (f). When the acceleration amplitude A2 increases in fluctuating the test frequency F, the reference frequency (f) is changed to the test frequency F (=f+Δf1 or f-Δf2) after the fluctuation.
