<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine where there is no trouble when renting balls and error notification is not excessive even whether the game machine may be used as a normal machine or a simple machine. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The game machine achieves the same game operation using common game balls to the simple machine wherein the value of game balls is low and the normal machine wherein the value of game balls is high. The machine includes a detection section (ST73) which detects stagnation of the game balls, a stop section (ST62) which stops driving of a put-out motor M until the stagnation of the game balls is solved, a determination section (ST79) which determines which of a prize ball operation and a ball renting operation causes the stagnation when the stagnation is detected, selection operation section (ST81 to ST84) which measures a continuation time in which driving of the put-out motor M is stopped without starting an alarming operation when it is determined that the stagnation is caused by the prize ball operation, and a delay alarming section (ST85) which starts the alarming operation when the continuation time exceeds a regulated value.
