PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CMOS image sensor wherein a noise superposed on a power source voltage is avoided from affecting the signal level of an output signal line which is read with a horizontal scanning circuit, resulting in improved resistance against the noise superposed on the power source voltage, thereby suppressing degradation in picture quality such as appearance of horizontal streaks on an imaged screen under the effect of the noise. Ž
SOLUTION: Relating to a vertical scanning circuit 110 in a solid-state imaging apparatus 100 which selects a pixel row in a pixel array after a specified pixel row is selected, supplying a power source voltage to a selective signal line Ls of the specified pixel row is cut off at a level reading timing for reading the signal level of an output signal line Lr by a horizontal scanning circuit.
